Last month, we began our project #BahariSafi in Kilifi County on recycling organic waste using Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae to create compost for community farms. Through the kind support of UMI Fund, we are advancing sustainable waste management and climate-smart agriculture.
After three months of intense hardwork, we finally wrapped up the #NetSafi project in style at the Chewani Ajira Youth Empowerment Center in Hola. The workshop reviewed the experiences of the Youth Digital Watch Cells and National Roadmap on Countering Electoral Disinformation in Kenya.
In Hola, we launched the Tana River Youth Digital Watch Cell in style, as we continue implementation of #NetSafi. Over the next 2 weeks, the Youth Digital Watch Cell will track, monitor and document misinformation in on social media channels primarily used in Tana River County.
