At Policy Action Initiative, we equip youths with core data and policy skills, and collaborative networks that positions them well to transition to stable career opportunities. Given that studies overwhelmingly indicate that over 80% of Africa’s population is under the age of 35, we are committed to ensuring active involvement of this demographic in sustainable development processes that shape their future. Our overarching vision is to cultivate a network of well-informed, vibrant, and patriotic citizens actively engaged in processes that propel socioeconomic transformations. 

The foundations of sound policymaking lie in a well-researched and evidence-based vision that is representative of the interests of the broader public as well as informed and empowered youths that can act as agent of change. We endeavor to contribute to shaping that vision by increasing the capacities of communities to utilize and promote equitable opportunities for all. In other words, our mission is to put the ACTION in our national, regional, and continental policies.
